Versace may have presented its latest collection during Milan Men’s Fashion Week over the weekend, but it was the women who ultimately stole the show. Donatella Versace unveiled the menswear collection, alongside a complementary women’s capsule added into the mix, meaning male models clad in pinstriped suits and red, python-print jackets were joined by a handful of female models including Bella Hadid and Imaan Hammam. Also making an appearance on the catwalk were Grace Elizabeth, Stella Maxwell, and Kendall Jenner, who returned to the runway following a five-month Fashion Week hiatus (her last catwalk appearance was at DSquared2 in January).

Hammam has also been noticeably absent from the runway, last walking for Versace Fall 2018 in February, and before that in H&M’s Spring 2017 show over a year ago. For her first runway appearance in over five months, the two-time Vogue Arabia cover star emerged at the Italian maison’s show wearing a black, oversized denim jacket slung over a T-shirt emblazoned with a tabloid print. A pair of black cut-offs and knee-high denim boots completed the Egyptian-Moroccan beauty’s look. Though the 21-year-old’s Fashion Week appearances have been few and far between, she has certainly still been working hard. In the past couple of months, Hammam has landed countless editorials and magazine covers, lent her modeling skills to Nigeria’s Arise Fashion Week in Lagos, and effectively owned the 2018 Met Gala in a Zac Posen gown.

Meanwhile, Hadid was photographed arriving backstage in a cropped, cable-knit turtleneck paired with white Versace shorts, lace-up boots, and a bumbag. As for the actual runway, the half-Palestinian model flaunted her figure in a form-fitting, ruffled, leather mini dress paired with strappy, floral-print sandals. Following the show, she enjoyed an authentic Italian dinner with fellow model pals Jenner and Maxwell, as well as Twilight star Kristen Stewart, swapping out her stilettos in lieu of an ultra-cozy pair of sneakers.

The 21-year-old recently made an appearance at Alexander Wang‘s biker-inspired Spring 2019 show in New York earlier this month. Will she be making any more #MFW appearance? We’ll be watching the runways eagerly.
