On April 28, HRH Princess Rajwa Al Hussein celebrated her 30th birthday, and it was special for more reasons than one.
HRH Princess Rajwa Al Hussein recently marked her first birthday since marrying into the Jordanian royal family, and tributes have been pouring in for the newly-minted 30-year-old. Not only was it a milestone occasion, but it was also a special birthday as the royal is expecting her first child with HRH Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II. The prince took to Instagram to celebrate the mother-to-be by sharing a never-before-seen photo of her with his five million followers. Although the post features both of them, the star of the photo, undoubtedly, is the princess as she is bathed in light from the camera flash, while a smiling prince looks on from behind. “May God continue to bless and nurture the bond between us. Happy Birthday Rajwa!” he captioned the photo.

Not one to shy from bold hues, Princess Rajwa is seen wearing a deep red look in the picture posted by the crown prince. The royal looked radiant in the dress, which featured long sleeves, a collar, and a subtle gathering detail at the front. However, the highlight of princess’ look were her choice of gold-toned accessories, which included a Bottega Veneta Knot Intrecciato clutch, and Schiaparelli’s Mouth and Eye earrings. While she has sported the clutch on previous occasions, the statement earrings have made a first appearance in the princess’ public wardrobe, and judging by the positive reaction of royal fashion watchers, it may not be the last time.
