Uniqlo Has Teamed Up with a British-Japanese designer to Create a Range of Modest Wear

There is a whole new collection of modest wear to shop from, thanks to British-Japanese designer, Hana Tajima’s collaboration with Uniqlo, the Japanese retail company. The designer first teamed up with Uniqlo in 2015 making it the first major high street company to sell fashionable headscarves.

The collection was a success in Southeast Asia, US, the UK, and even Canada when it launched in early 2017 following which it has been in high demand worldwide. The latest SS19 collection is the designer’s seventh with Uniqlo and the designs are chic and fashionable as ever. Lightweight breathable fabrics give way to loose silhouettes in a color palette of soft neutrals and, earthy tones. The concept behind the entire collection is to create fashionable yet functional clothing using Uniqlo’s signature breezy linens and cotton. The range of clothing includes puff-sleeved blouses, tunics, shift dresses, skirts, and wide-legged trousers as well as headscarves and hijabs.

The designer has also come up with a few styling tips on how to best style the headscarves.
