One of the most-awaited shows of the Milan Fashion Week calendar, the Gucci Spring/Summer 2020 show will take place later today at The Gucci Hub. Earlier this month, Gucci had announced that its show in Milan will be the luxury house’s first-ever carbon neutral show.
“We will offset everything, from the travel emissions of 1,000 guests and 900 workers, including models, production staff and Gucci employees, to using recycled wood for the set and Forest Stewardship Council-certified paper invites,” Gucci’s CEO Marco Bizzarri had told The New York Times.

Last season the brand’s visionary creative director Alessandro Michele looked to the heritage brand’s archives and with a focus on tailoring, sent Gucci’s Fall 2019 collection down the runway. It featured women wearing suits and men wearing floral vests, while the rest of the collection was equally vibrant and eclectic, which is something Michele is famed for.
