Gigi Hadid loves millennial pink. Earlier this month, the Palestinian-American model stepped out in a pair of pink high-waisted, oversized Adam Selman trousers with a coordinating pink jacket wrapped around her waist, and rose-toned sneakers. She’s even matched the look to her boyfriend Zayn Malik’s wardrobe. For Hadid’s 22nd birthday, the Vogue Arabia debut cover girl also sported the trending color – she wore a blush-colored duster coat and fur-lined loafers in a matching millennial shade. That said, she hasn’t sported the shade full-on, until now. Yesterday in New York for the Gigi Hadid X Vogue Eyewear Collection launch party, the model channeled a real-life Barbie in head to toe pink leather – a fitting look, considering it wasn’t that long ago that Mattel released a Gigi Hadid Barbie doll. She opted for an embellished, fringed jacket and 1970s-inspired flared trousers. She kept the millennial palette going with a pink camisole and a pair of Aquazzura heels to match. The outfit felt timely with the release of Next Gen Ken, a collection of Ken dolls of varying body types, skin tones, and hairstyles. All that was missing was her own Ken doll, though her real-life boyfriend, Zayn Malik, would certainly pass.
