Leave it to Gigi Hadid to take luxe loungewear to the next level in knitted separates. Since the seasons switched to spring, the new-gen super has been giving classic staples a twist. After wrapping color-block trench coats, from Lesyanebo to Moncler, around her, Gigi’s attention has turned to knitted co-ords.
In a pared-back marl-grey set – featuring a collared cardigan and flared trousers – Hadid proved that it’s time to step away from bulky sweaters and polo-necks. While out with her baby girl Khai, the new mum paired her soft knitted separates with black Vagabond Tessa boots, a gold Martha Calvo Evil Eye necklace and a Lapcos Live Well face mask.
Along with her penchant for a spring trench, Hadid is also devoted to a peppy blazer. Recently, she shrugged a burnt orange style courtesy of Lesyanebo over her shoulders while out in New York City. She offset any officewear connotations with a pair of box-fresh Reebok x Victoria Beckham Dual Court sneakers and bright yellow Petals And Peacocks socks. Always one to opt for ripped denim, the model wore a pair of whitewash Good American jeans, a Cotton Citizen Verona top and Velvet Canyon shades. In short: it’s time to take your knitwear cues from Hadid for your next park bench meet-up.
