Georgina Rodriguez has arrived in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for her long-term partner Cristiano Ronaldo’s presentation by his new club, Al Nassr. Last night, the Argentine-Spanish model and reality TV star stepped out for the highly-anticipated event while championing Arab talent.

The 28-year-old was dressed warmly for the Saudi winter evening in a black MaxMara turtleneck and blue bootleg jeans by Elisabetta Franchi as she walked with Ronaldo and his children to the Mrsool Park stadium. To top off the fail-safe outfit and pay homage to the region, Rodriguez looked to Doha-based brand Dollab Line for a velvet maroon abaya with curvy embroidery at the front. She completed the ensemble with glittering Pasquale Bruni earrings and a bright pink Hermès bag.

This is not the first time Rodriguez has given a sartorial nod to the Arab world and seeing as Ronaldo is starting a new journey in Saudi, it certainly won’t be the last. While in Doha last month for the 2022 Fifa World Cup, Rodriguez cheered on the star footballer at Lusail Stadium wearing a sage green abaya embroidered with palm fronds by Qatari brand 1309 Studios. The brand helmed by founder and creative director Ghada Al Subaey is known for its contemporary pieces, making them ideal for Rodriguez who styled her pick with a black dress and chunky jewelry.

The press conference last night saw Ronaldo shed light on his decision and why he turned down multiple offers from other clubs. “Coming to Saudi Arabia is not the end of my career,” said the Portuguese player. “It is the reason why I have changed and to be honest, I am not worried about what people say. I was done in Europe… I had many offers in Europe, many in Brazil, Australia, America, even Portugal. Many clubs tried to sign me but I gave my promise to this club.”
