This Fall 2016 season, the fluffy party reached its peak. Major fashion houses are having a frivolous jaunt with colorful fun fur coats and furry key pieces that immediately inject personality into one’s wardrobe. Gucci’s pepto-pink fur coat just about sums up the season; more is indeed more. Fendi adds multi-colored pom poms of fox fur to its stilettos, while Saks Potts delivers the perfect shearling (Leandra Medine is a fan). British brands leading the way with faux fur options include Stella McCartney, Charlotte Simone, and Shrimps, an emerging label which Alexa Chung regularly wears during fashion month. This trio of brands come with an in-built quintessential British spirit of style rebellion, the rules of which are basic: have fun.
