Here’s What Rihanna’s Debut Fashion Line Looks Like

Earlier this month, pop star Rihanna made history by becoming the first black woman to create an original brand under LVMH. Following collaborations with brands like River Island, Puma, then a beauty and lingerie brand all of her own, the Bajan star’s next big move is running a luxury fashion house in Paris.

Yesterday, the Instagram account for the brand made its first post, right after the singer gave us the first official look at Fenty’s collection. For the shoot of T Magazine‘s first digital cover, the 31-year-old went all out by wearing clothing from her own brand, images of which she posted on her Instagram. The images show her hair styled in ponytails, wearing three different outfits, each one as bold as the other.

From the looks of it, Fenty’s clothing line will feature pointed leather heels, and Rihanna’s love for corsets will shine through the corset dresses in Japanese denim, as well as corset blazer-style dresses and structured suits. The campaign video posted on Instagram hints at the color palette of the collection which mainly seems to be monochrome, beige intermingled with pastel pink and green.

The collection’s sneak-peek also put a launch date to the much-awaited debut. May 24 onwards, the Fenty collection will be available to shop at a pop-up in Paris, while the entire range will be made available online at the brand’s website soon after, on May 29.
