Speaking about what this collection represents to her, Annoushka tells Vogue Arabia: “I have always felt emphatically that jewelry should be something intensely personal and my new Chain Letters collection allows the giver or wearer the freedom to design something totally unique and meaningful that can be worn every day. I love the romance behind being able to cast a secret message or nickname in 18ct Gold and Diamonds; to be able to wear the name of your loved one close to your heart or their initials on your ear.”

The idea behind Chain Letters came from Annoushka falling back in love with the art of letter writing. It started with turning her own signature into a necklace, and from there progressed into a handwritten alphabet that transformed into a fully customizable font of jewelry. “Modern fine jewelry can often be very serious and rather intimidating and I have always tried to move away from this feeling of reverence through my designs; above all I want to encourage women to have fun with their jewelry. Chain Letters reflects my ongoing desire to create something playful but meaningful, something special that can be treasured and passed down from generation to generation.”

Chain Letters is now available to ship worldwide from www.annoushka.com.
