Fendi has released a short film called Girl’s Secret, directed by Rebecca Zlotowski (Belle Épine and Grand Central) and starring actress Sigrid Bouaziz. To a soundtrack of Las Aves’s N.E.M, a well-heeled girl gang follow the film’s leading lady, a modern-day Marie Antoinette figure. The royal character is resplendent in Fendi’s Spring 2017 collection: whimsical dresses, kitschy accessories, and so-wearable heels.

Bouaziz recently appeared in the 2016 film Personal Shopper, directed by Olivier Assayas and also starring Kristen Stewart. Now a Fendi hero for the summer season(2), Girl’s Secret is a play on the millennial cool-girl aesthetic – empowered and lively in clashing prints. The collection courts the streets of Paris with a fashion-fuelled edge. Watch the short film here.
