Fashion Prize Winner Joanna Laura Constantine Finds a Fan in Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga has played the very last show of her Joanne World Tour in Birmingham in the United Kingdom having just canceled the remaining leg of her worldwide tour, due to Fibromyalgia, a chronic illness that causes widespread joint and musculoskeletal pain, migraines, bowel distress, and fatigue.

After the show, the singer took time to pose for selfies with fans outside the Genting Arena. In a stack of images posted by one user, @kirstydxvies, on Instagram, Lady Gaga is pictured wearing a vintage, hot pink Chanel trench coat paired with white, oval sunglasses and a set of mismatched pearl earrings by the 2017 DDFC/Vogue Fashion Prize accessories design winner, Joanna Laura Constantine. The singer mixed the Gold and Pearl Grommet Drop Earring with the gold-plated Why Knot Pearl Earring.

Though it’s the first time the singer has worn jewelry by the Lebanese accessories designer and she has a track record of gravitating towards designs by Arab talent. Who can forget the custom, shimmering Alaïa frock she wore to the 2015 Oscar Awards ceremony? In the past, Lady Gaga has also been spotted wearing designs by Mohammed Ashi as well as Kuwaiti couturier to the stars Yousef Aljasmi.

Meanwhile, Constantine, who shortly after winning the Fashion Prize saw her designs on the likes of Bella Thorne, Mary J. Blige, and Meghan Trainor.

Those who want to borrow from Lady Gaga’s style will be pleased to know that the earrings are available at Ounass and Shopbop, as well as Harvey Nichols and Bloomingdales boutiques across the Middle East.
