Fashion Forward Dubai is back, and this time, it’s bigger. The sartorial event will take place from October 30 to November 2 in the creative hub of Dubai Design District. With only a month left for the fashion event to begin, we bring you the full list of the participating designers.
Keeping up with the world of e-commerce, Fashion Forward Dubai has introduced an ‘e-marketplace,’ which allows the audience to shop designs from the show instantly. Fashion enthusiasts will be able to own the designers’ creations soon after the shows, instead of waiting for days before collections are dropped in stores.
The October edition of FFWD will showcase a comprehensive display of couture and contemporary-wear designs from emerging as well as established designers.
This year, attendees of the fashion shows will witness collections from international fashion houses such as Christian Cowan, whose designs have been worn by Lady Gaga, Beyonce, and Cardi B; London-based fashion label, Robert Wun, who has dressed Gigi Hadid; and Nadya Dzyak, famed for her lavish ready-to-wear pieces.
Additionally, FFWD is bringing back some of their favorite regional designers, who have now become regulars at the fashion-filled event. The list includes couturiers Amato, Atelier Zuhra, Michael Cinco, Yousef Al Jasmi, and ready-to-wear labels Arwa Al Banawi, Behnoode, Hessa Falasi, Mrs. Keepa, Roni Helou, Sadeem, and Varoin Marwah.
The four-day event will also see some new faces including designers Hass Idriss, Hazem Kais, Jessica K, Maison Farah Wali, Reemami, Thym, and Tanya Skaff, who will make their debut at this year’s FFWD.
Endorsed by Dubai Design & Fashion Council, the event provides a platform to emerging designers from the region. The avant-garde gathering will include runway shows, presentations, and programs to enlighten consumers about the fashion scene in the Middle East and globally.
While you wait for Dubai‘s most prominent fashion event to take off, here’s a sneak peek of what’s to come on the Fashion Forward Dubai October 2019 runways.
