Actor, model, influencer… Yasmine Sabri juggles many hats. And now, the Egyptian beauty can add one more designation to her list: designer.
Joining hands with Egyptian luxury accessories brand Okhtein, the actor gives us the Jasmine capsule, a special collection of handbags and sunglasses that celebrate Egyptian culture, artisanal craftsmanship, and most importantly, sisterhood. After all, the name “Okhtein” itself translates to “two sisters” in Arabic, a sweet nod to its sibling co-founders, Mounaz and Aya Abdelraouf.
Over the years, Okhtein has slowly but surely sealed its spot among the region’s most loved brands. Having just released their very first jewelry line, the siblings and co-founders are now all set to reveal their fresh, vibrant spring/summer 2024 collection replete with seasonal must-haves. And with Yasmine Sabri adding her keen eye to the mix, there’s no doubt that this collection will be one for the books — and a reminder of the power of Egyptian creativity.

Everything you need to know about Yasmine Sabri’s collaborative collection with Okhtein
Best known for her feminine style and love for all things elegant, Yasmine Sabri is bringing her signature touch to Okhtein’s globally loved pieces this season. The collaborative Jasmine capsule collection drops on December 7, and will be released as volume one of the brand’s complete spring/summer 2024 Garden line.
Sabri’s greatest contribution to Okhtein’s spring/summer 2024 line takes shape in the form of the Yasmine bag. The star of the Jasmine capsule, the handbag comes in two sizes — classic and mini — and pays homage to Okhtein’s signature palmette, but through Sabri’s lens.

As you may have guessed already, the Yasmine bag takes inspiration from the jasmine flower, which has for centuries served as a symbol of Arab nature and its magical gardens. Taking inspiration from this dreamy visual, each bag aims to project a feeling of peace and serenity. Here, the jasmine flower serves as an updated, modern motif that sits atop each bag, with a strong, abstract profile that brings in texture. Ranging from deep red, inky black, and a creamy caramel tone, to bold shades like orange, teal and even baby pink, the Yasmine bag embraces the idea of two opposing worlds intertwining to create one unique line.
Crafted using rich nappa leather and metallic hardware, the Yasmine bag’s clean, minimalistic design makes it a classic investment piece. The styling options here are endless: Pair the classic size with a draped ivory dress like Sabri for brunches, or grab a mini in a jewel tone (think emerald green or ruby red) for an evening out in the city.

Extending her creative wings further, Sabri’s collab with Okhtein has also resulted in a range of three new sunglasses designs, all of which come adorned with the very same jasmine palmette motif. Square-shaped sunset frames make the ideal pick for lazy afternoons, while a deeper black design promises to come in handy for formal celebrations.
