Vogue.me unveils the first look of the Nada Le Cavelier x Nour Arida jewelry collaboration, and it’s nothing short of extraordinary. The capsule collection features a contemporary collection of cuffs, earrings, bracelets, and rings that are classic but with an edge – much like the woman who inspired it. “The offering was born when Nour requested a pinkie ring from Le Cavelier,” Nada Le Cavelier, founder of the eponymous brand, tells Vogue.me. “She wanted something that looked like her. Simple, minimalistic, but edgy and very distinguished. We both fell in love with the ring. We then designed a second ring to complement the first, then a bracelet. Immediately after that, the idea became concrete. I thought, why don’t we launch a capsule collection? We can call it O! Nour since she’s our muse.”

Nour Arida adds, “The market is flooding with jewelry designers, but not all of them have the history, passion, and perfection that drive Le Cavelier.” The Middle Eastern influencer and now designer adds, “I think this collection brings out a minimalistic, classic, yet edgy mix, which we are starting to lack in what we’re seeing elsewhere.” No less, the combination of social media star and storied jewelry maison results in a collection that is cutting-edge in its market positioning while coming with the craftsmanship of a heritage brand. Arida has a reverence for the brand history of Le Cavelier and notes the passion behind its designs. “I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone who is that passionate and attentive to details,” Arida tells Vogue.

O! Nour will be revealed at an intimate event in Le Cavelier’s Beirut boutique, where guests will be able to get first dibs on the collection and meet the dynamic duo behind the new-season offering. “Because we are both Beirut-based, and as a sign of gratitude to our Lebanese friends and customers who have been by our sides for the past 40 years, we will start selling exclusively at Nada Le Cavelier in Beirut at first,” Arida tells Vogue.

The capsule will be available for pre-orders throughout December, and in-store in January 2018. As for a second collection being in the pipeline, Arida reflects hopefully, “Right now we are focused on this collection, in the hopes that you’ll hear more of us right after.” Le Cavelier echoes Arida’s view to continue this creative synergy between maison and muse. “By deciding to work together on the O! Nour collection and as a first experience of the sort for us, we both made a commitment to share an image and a philosophy. It is more than a contract, it’s an affinity. May it last as promises do.” As the very first campaign images are revealed here and the ribbon is cut on the new collection, prepare for your bandwidth to slow with all the digital noise this is bound to make.
