Fashion’s runway designers may have turned their attention to sustainability and long-lasting design this past couple of seasons but London-based brand Cos has made it their focus from the very beginning. Signatures of fluid silhouettes, clean lines, quality materials – in essence, the building blocks for a lasting wardrobe – are the aesthetics that have ensured Cos remains relevant year after year. Now, in honor of Ramadan, the brand has developed an 18-piece limited-edition capsule that taps into their core values while delivering elegant wearability.

Dedicated to ‘the modern woman’, standout pieces include tonal loungewear sets, layered silk maxi dresses, cotton tunics, pussy-bow blouses, and wide-leg pants – all modest in design with longer hemlines and higher necklines. A color palette of cream, oatmeal beige, navy, teal, and fuchsia lend plenty of options for day-to-evening occasions during the Holy month.

“Fusing Cos’ dedication to traditional tailoring and modern design, the collection has been created for customers looking for layering pieces,” says Cos creative director Karin Gustafsson, emphasizing that the capsule has been carefully curated to inspire personal styling, with options for mixing-and-matching.

Following the brand’s longtime commitment to sustainability, Tencel and Modal fibers – the go-to fabrics for many ethical and conscious clothing brands due to their compostable and biodegradable nature – have been applied to the collection’s soft chiffon and cotton twill, making them wardrobe staples long after Ramadan has ended.

Launching with a campaign inspired by the natural shift between day and night, the capsule will hit stores throughout the Middle East in early April 2020.
