Ever since its opening earlier this year, Ether by Cloud Spaces has been pioneering a new way forward by supporting homegrown brands and artisans along with international names. Recently, the concept store located within Yas Mall partnered with the Abu Dhabi Businesswoman Council to take this mission another step forward.
This strategic partnership with the council was centered around empowering women-owned initiatives by providing them with a platform to showcase their products in an effort to nurture their growth. “We are thrilled to join forces with the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council in our mission to empower Emirati women entrepreneurs,” said Malak Smejkalova, senior director of innovation at Cloud Spaces, in a press release. “By providing women-owned start-ups with access to retail opportunities through our platform, we hope to facilitate their entry into the market and support their journey towards success.”
A recent event at the space saw the launch of six local brands at Ether, showcasing the partnership’s commitment to catapulting the local fashion and lifestyle space. Below, discover more about each of these exciting brands.
Flow Fit
Described as a brand designed for women by women, Flow Fit is all about making activewear more inclusive. “As a plus-size female who enjoys Boxing, Body Combat & HIIT classes, it was a challenge to find women’s activewear that suits my type of body and offers the maximum support and comfort,” shares the Emirati founder on the brand’s website. This gap in the market is what prompted the birth of Flow Fit in Al Ain, with the hopes of ensuring that every woman is comfortable in her own body. The brand boasts an impressive range of sizes vowing to accommodate women of all shapes.
Shaksy

Dëine
Inspired by old tools and the culture of pearl diving in the Arabian Gulf, every piece from Dëine seems to tell a story of its own.
