The Word on the Esteban Cortazar x Colette Collaboration

Bright, exotic, and pumping with adrenaline, the season of “Colombia in France” (a year-long cultural exchange to foster links between the two countries) is being marked with a fantastic (and equally loud) launch by Esteban Cortazar and Paris’s favorite fashion hub, Colette. To mark the occasion, globally recognized Colombian designers and artists were invited to create brightly colored pieces for a specially themed tiendita (local shop). The selection, curated by Cortazar, will feature everything from clothes and accessories to books, including the limited-edition Botero published by Assouline. From the two large front windows of the Parisian store dedicated to the project, the Colombian flavor will spread into the popular Candelaria water bar where Colombian chef Carlos Peñarredonda has dreamed up a special menu for the next two weeks of the project. The highlight, though, is Cortazar’s launch of his first sportswear collection, including hoodies, T-shirts, and neoprene dresses. Designed by Colombian brand SevenSeven, this is one event that should not be missed.

The Esteban Cortazar x Colette collaboration is available until July 22.
