Perhaps the most important piece a woman will ever buy, the wedding dress is a pressure point purchase for women the world over. But good news comes to those who adore good threads:Elie Saab Bridal has announced that it will add ten new striking dresses to its established ready-to-wear collection for Fall 2017. The complete collection will be available from March 2017 at Elie Saab boutiques and through choice stores globally. Resplendent in nude pinks and soft white, each garment distills the Saab spirit with signature flourishes: appliquéd mesh, daring splits, and tailored waistlines.
The initial bridal offering from the Beirut-born, self-taught designer launched in April 2016 to rave reviews.
Additions to the collection include capes, fur boleros and clever detachable aspects on the dresses that help the bride transition her silhouette from day to night celebrations.
Saab has also added pearl-embroidered or lace veils, and hair pieces that complete the bridal look 360 degrees. What’s next now for Elie Saab? The brand’s first foray into eyewear in January 2017. Watch this space.
The launch of the Vogue Arabia journey was expressed beautifully by Elie Saab in conversation with model/director Elisa Sednaoui in an exclusive film that is a must-see for all brides-to-be exploring Elie Saab as the designer behind their most poignant gown.
