Egyptian fashion entrepreneur Nadia Salem and British Italian designer Antonio Berardi have come together on a new brand, Lamanulà, which is set to debut during Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2022. The Milan-based brand’s inaugural collection is being presented exclusively at Paris’ Showroom Mosaique.

The collaboration has brought about a summery collection inspired by the delectable treats on the window of a French patisserie, in shades of bluebell, lemon sorbet, mint, pastels of crystallized rose, and maraschino cherry. The result is an ultra-feminine collection of playful pieces made to spark joy in the wardrobes of “young, fun-loving” women.

“A woman is not either/or, but she can be everything,” says Salem of the mindset behind creating the collection. “Everyone can be everything, and this collection represents just that. Providing women with the tools to be who they want to be, comfortably, without compromise.” The line is replete with pieces that can take one from day to night, including bat-sleeved dresses and jumpsuits, while the sparkling mini numbers are ideal for cocktail parties, and the full-length puff-sleeved gowns will have one covered for evening outings.

Aiming to embrace “all phases of a product’s life”, exceptional quality is at the core of the brand. Lamanulà also works with Castor, a renowned family business founded by Angela Picozzi which specializes in high-quality made-in-Italy pieces, and has a repertoire of some of the most renowned fashion houses.
