Dua Lipa Steps Out in Homegrown Streetwear Label

Dua Lipa

Dua Lipa was photographed leaving the dentist’s office in Australia wearing a design by homegrown streetwear label on the rise, Shabab International. The certified hitmaker opted for the unisex brand’s bowling shirt. She transformed the boxy, loose-fitting button-down into a figure-flattering crop top by tying it into a front knot. She struck a balance between sleek and sporty by pairing the top with baggy, khaki-colored cargo pants and bright Chanel trainers. The off-duty look was a refreshing departure from the glam onstage ensembles the British popstar is used to sporting. It was styled by Dubai-based Sarah Isa, who is responsible for transforming the wardrobes of a number of Insta girls across the region.

Meanwhile, Shabab International was founded by pseudonymous photography duo Chebmoha and Chndy who hail from Iraq and Oman, respectively. The Dubai-based designers-slash-photographers have also recently seen their designs on English rapper Tinie Tempah. Those keen to get their hands on the label’s lineup of ultra-cozy track suits, sweatshirts, and tops can visit General.3am in Dubai Design District where the pieces are stocked.
