Actor Dorra Zarrouk has treated fans to the perfect antidote for Sunday blues by sharing a series of throwback photos on Instagram of her stunning wedding dress designed by Lebanese couturier Zuhair Murad.
Zarrouk, who married Egyptian architect and interior designer Hany Saad, last month in El Gouna, took to Instagram to share a series of images from her wedding day using the hashtag #aboutthisday. The long-sleeved, form-fitting gown worn by the Tunisian star features embellished leaf details, complete with a voluminous train and an embroidered long, silk veil.
Zarrouk wore three beautiful gowns for the wedding celebrations, which took place on November 2. One gown was created by Kojak Studio, the fashion label by Egyptian designer Mohanad Kojak, and the other two by Murad. “When God brings two people to people together with love, no one can separate them,” Dorra commented on Instagram at the time. “Thank you and all the love for friends and loved ones who share our joy.” Often featured on the best-dressed lists wearing local designers, it is no surprise she chose to wear Arab designers for her special day.
Putting the worries of the pandemic, aside for one day, many A-list Arab celebrities, including Egyptian icon Yousra, and actors Ahmed El Sakka and Ghada Adel, joined the happy couple – who are reported to have been together since 2019 – to celebrate their wedding.
