Dolce & Gabbana has recently extended its size range up to UK 22. While all luxury fashion houses cater to women of sizes up to UK 16, the Italian label helmed by designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana is the first to make this move in the direction of body positivity which makes it one of the most inclusive designer brands for women.

“Dolce & Gabbana has been in love with feminine sensuality in all its forms from the beginning,” shared the brand in a statement. “Beauty is not a matter of clothing size, it is a state of mind, an attitude – that certain something that makes each woman enchanting and unique. By extending the collection’s clothing size range, Dolce & Gabbana pays tribute to women, the female form and beauty at its finest.” The size range extension will begin with its pre-fall collection, which is currently on sale.

Over the past few years, Dolce & Gabbana is known to have cast women of all sizes in its runway shows like actor Monica Bellucci and models Ashely Graham and Tess McMillan. With this news, the label has also vowed to continue working with plus-sized models and cast them in future advertising campaigns and shows.
