It was a weekend where the crème de la crème of Hollywood descended on the UAE capital, to enjoy the roar from the Grand Prix racetrack. And one particular dinner was especially star-studded, as SemSem creative director and founder Abeer Al Otaiba brought together comedians, actors, and style icons from around the world to fete the womenswear label, and introduce guests to Abu Dhabi’s wonders.

Fashion muse Olivia Palermo and Girls Trip star Tiffany Haddish—both wearing SemSem gowns—comedian Dave Chapelle, and TV host and personality Steve Harvey were among the night’s attendees, who congregated at Café Milano at the Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi. HE Yousef Al Otaiba, the UAE Ambassador to the United States and husband of the SemSem founder, delivered a rousing speech, before Haddish and Tucker treated the crowd to impromptu live performances.
