There was no sign of nerves as the Lebanese designer grinned and joked with models ahead of unveiling his Spring 2019 ready-to-wear collection. Indeed, Kayrouz’s playful expression matched that of his creations, which were bursting with vibrant, pop-art hues, and peppered with summery ginghams and bold plaids. The maison also played with featherlight chiffons and surprising ruching, to create a seemingly spontaneous smorgasbord of looks that felt modern, effortless, and almost achingly cool.
