Lebanese couturier Elie Saab has opened his first store in New York and plans to open an additional bridal store in the Big Apple in late 2017. Situated on the corner of Madison Ave and 70th street, the new flagship occupies two floors and is complete with a stainless steel wall, a spiral marble staircase, and floor-to-ceiling windows. Designed in collaboration with architectural design agency RDAI, the boutique also features a private salon and dressing rooms, an intuitive move for the brand’s clientele. The designer, who has created some of the most jaw-dropping haute couture gowns for a plethora of celebrities, royals and A-listers— including HRH Queen Rania, Nancy Ajram, and Halle Berry, to name but a few— also has boutiques in Beirut, Dubai, Paris, and London.
