What Delpozo’s Josep Font Did Next

When Josep Font joined Delpozo five years ago following the passing of its founder, Jesús del Pozo, in 2011, his goal was to transform the heritage house into an international luxury brand. He went on to broaden the brand’s sphere of clientele by bringing it to New York Fashion Week, and teaming up with international retailers on romantic, feminine pieces.

On Wednesday, Delpozo launched a capsule collection with Stylebop.com. Shipping across the Middle East, the heritage womenswear label brings its sleek tailoring and architectural silhouettes – which Font honed during his studies of architecture in Spain – to a broader range of fashion-forward women the world over. “Stylebop has been a great partner since we started working together,” Font tells Vogue Arabia. “I wanted to strengthen our relationship through a special project. Creating this capsule for the holiday season was the result of our conversation.”

The capsule collection will be available throughout December. Expect contemporary takes on house signatures, punctuated with strapless midi-dresses, silk gowns with billowing tulle sleeves, expertly cut separates, and a blush pink mini skirt adorned with an oversized bow that would pair flawlessly with the brand’s new Resort 2018 bow clutch.
