This year’s Venice Film Festival marked a major milestone for Dakota Fanning. On Sunday, the 24-year-old attended the screening of her directorial debut, Hello Apartment, which was part of the Prada-commissioned Miu Miu Women’s Tales short film series. For the occasion of her big debut, the actor chose an ethereal white, strappy gown from Miu Miu, naturally. And while attending the Jaeger-LeCoultre Gala Dinner held during the 75th edition of the prestigious film festival on Tuesday, Fanning looked no less grand.

The actress, who has been walking red carpets since she was a child (her debut was at the I am Sam premiere in 2001), stepped out in what might be her most jaw-dropping evening look yet. Joining her The Alienist co-star Daniel Bruhl, Fanning oozed elegance in an asymmetrical, champagne-colored gown by Georges Hobeika. The dazzling, tea-length dress, which first appeared on the Lebanese designer’s Spring 2018 Couture runway, featured one sleeve and was embellished with botanical motifs. She accessorized the look with a pair of gold Giuseppe Zanotti heels and a matching Christian Louboutin clutch. Fanning wore her hair in a sleek, center-parted chignon, neatly secured at the nape of her neck. A dusting of peach-colored powder across her lids paired with a swivel of flesh-toned lipstick rendered her glamorous look complete.

The princess-worthy frock was in keeping with the actress’s other major red carpet turns, including a sequined, holographic Miu Miu dress she wore at last year’s Venice Film Festival. Fanning joins an impressive rank of stars who favor the Lebanese couturier’s designs for major red carpet events. In recent months, everyone from Shanina Shaik to Nicole Scherzinger have stunned in his show-stopping gowns.
