No Blow Dry Needed as Hair Accessories and Hats Dominate Couture

Sick of spending hours at the salon? You’re in luck. If there’s one thing that the runways at Fall 2019 couture proved, hiding your hair under a hat can be considered high fashion. For those in warm weather climates or looking for a smarter take on the trend, hair accessories also had their moment from Armani to Zuhair.

For the really wild days look to Schiaparelli, where several models braved the runway with the top of their face hidden under a satin cape. Taking inspiration from times gone by, PVC headscarves knotted over net were seen at Maison Margiela, offered up a femme fatale vibe. For more of a classic hat, wide brims were the choice at Ronald van der Kemp whilst Christian Dior looked to the beret. Taking things down a notch Elie Saab and Ralph & Russo proved the power of the headband. Pulling hair back, they let embellished hairbands do the talking.
