Comme des Garçons chief Adrian Joffe has revealed that the Japanese fashion house will launch a new brand online in July 2018.

Joffe unveiled the plans at the opening of China’s first Dover Street Market. “Nobody knows yet, but what I can tell you is it’s going to be internet-based,” he said, before adding that his wife and business partner Rei Kawakubo is designing the website. The online launch will be followed by six shops worldwide.

Though Joffe kept details purposefully scarce, fans can expect a “simple” collection for men and women. The line will be the 18th brand for the company, joining high-end lines Noir, Homme, Plus, Shirt, and Play, among others.

News of the launch coincides with brilliant sales reports for the brand. Comme des Garçons sales are up 30 percent to $300 million, and Dover Street Market profits are up 35 percent on last year, according to WWD. The New York outpost alone has seen a 50 percent boost, which could be an after-effect of the critically-acclaimed Kawakubo-themed Met Gala exhibition last year.
