Christian Dior’s series of pop-up shops across major cities opens in Dubai at Level Shoes. Located in the largest shoe department store in the world, the temporary space lives up to the expectations of the French heritage brand. In calming shades of white and dove grey––reminiscent of Dior’s 30 Avenue Montaigne address––minimalist accents of concrete, brass, and raw wood serve as a clean backdrop for Maria Grazia Chiuri’s debut Spring 2017 collection on display.
Visitors can shop Chiuri’s first Ready-to-Wear offering, which celebrates a new era for Christian Dior with the house’s first female creative director. Expect to find romantic tiered tulle skirts, sheer dresses, and embroidered gowns featuring zodiac and tarot motifs, alongside uniform-inspired separates and Chiuri’s reinterpretation of the signature Bar jacket.
The delicate gowns and new lineup of accessories are not the only draws. You can also get your hands on the widely popular “We Should All Be Feminists” T-shirt, inspired by writer Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. As seen on Dior brand ambassador Rihanna, a portion of the sales will go towards the singer’s Clara Lionel Foundation, which supports education and health programs internationally.
Act fast––the pop-up runs until March 25.
