Now, Céline Dion Sports a Brocade Suit Fit for Royalty

In Céline Dion’s world more is definitely more. Whether that means chilling at home in high tech boots as she did on social media last week or belting out hits in the Schiaparelli Haute Couture she wore onstage back in June, Dion lives for exciting fashion in part because her fans enjoy it as much as she does. Over the weekend on Instagram, she gave her loyal followers another dose of glamour, updating her account with a sweet message and another compelling outfit.

Clad in a tangerine brocade suit by Dolce & Gabbana paired with a glittering silver blouse from Redemption, the Canadian chanteuse looked like she’d stepped out of the baroque period. The clash of patterns and textures could have been too much, but registered as sumptuous instead of seeming overwrought. It takes panache to pull off flamboyant fashion but Dion and her stylist Law Roach’s love of ornate design never feels forced. Surrounded by flowers and decked out in Balenciaga heels, Dion looked right at home.

This isn’t the first epic fashion moment Dion has displayed in recent weeks either; the Québécois songstress won the fashion world’s heart in a yellow power suit from Lebanese designer Maison Rabih Kayrouz last month. And, just days later, the 50-year-old My Heart Will Go On star slipped into a second statement suit from a label of the region, this time courtesy of Lebanese couturier Elie Saab.
