After owning Sunday at London Fashion Week with her epic 10th anniversary celebration, which included a livestream and takeover of Piccadilly Circus, on Tuesday the designer proved that a leopard can change its spots. Victoria Beckham, dressed in her own Fall 2018 collection, departed her Dover Street boutique after a meeting with Anna Wintour in an abstract twist on the traditional animal print, styled in her inimitable way.
The digitally reworked, eye-dazzling animal motif highlighted the layered tailoring of her streamlined shirtdress. The look also suggested a directional take on neutral-tone dressing, but Beckham took things to the next level with punchy, color-coordinated accessories. Sky-blue heels and a chain-link handbag in the same shade popped against the pattern—a finishing touch that really roared.
