Dressing for a British heatwave is no mean feat, and even more so when a smart dress code is called for. With temperatures soaring into the mid-30s in the UK today, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex went where the royals have rarely gone before in the sartorial stakes when deciding what to wear for the Sentebale Polo Cup.
Opting for a flared denim summer dress, by Carolina Herrera, belted at the waist, the Duchess broke away from unofficial royal tradition to only wear denim for casual occasions. Appropriately for the hot day, her hair was swept up into her signature low bun, and she accessorized the outfit with a J Crew wicker bag, Michael Kors sunglasses, and nude Aquazurra heels.
