Naomi Campbell Demonstrates How to Rock After-Dark Textures

It may have been a night dedicated to the most decadent and creative of scents, but it was the clothes that did the talking on the red carpet. The Fragrance Foundation Awards 2018 were held in New York on Tuesday, drawing stars such as Naomi Campbell, Chanel Iman, and Rita Ora to Alice Tully Hall. Catwalk star Campbell made a particular sartorial splash, wearing a monochromatic ensemble by Alexander McQueen. Dusted in shards of sequins and shimmering fringing, the black ankle-scraping dress and textural cape caught the camera’s glare perfectly, giving Campbell an unparalleled luminosity. The British icon teamed the Sarah Burton-design outfit with poker-straight locks and pared-back makeup, as she presented the Men’s Luxury Fragrance of the Year Award to Tom Ford.

Twenty-seven-year-old model Chanel Iman was also in attendance, donning a scarlet one-shouldered gown by Romona Keveza. With a split hemline and figure-skimming silhouette, the number gently hugged the Victoria’s Secret Angel’s bump. Iman, who wed American football Sterling Shepard earlier this year, is expecting the couple’s first child in August.

Fellow VS Angel Josephine Skriver turned to a label from the region for her red-carpet appearance, sporting an ornate feathered midi by Zuhair Murad. With intricate beading and a scooped back, the couture piece by the Lebanese designer positively oozed a high-octane glamor,

During the awards, hosted by actor Jane Krakowski, French perfumer Olivier Cresp was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award, while Ann Gottlieb was welcomed into the Fragrance Foundation’s Hall of Fame.
