Last weekend was a busy one for our favorite celebrities. A host of models, actors, and designers descended on Milk Studios in Los Angeles to celebrate the relaunch of Cartier’s Panthère watch, dressed to the nines in formfitting gowns, elegant pantsuits and layers of Cartier jewelry (of course.) Among the guests were Algerian-French actor Sofia Boutella, who turned heads in an embellished Burberry dress straight off the Fall 2017 runway. Also at the event was model Miranda Kerr – who attended the Met Gala with Cartier last week – wearing a white minidress, with a matching tailored blazer thrown over her shoulders. The monochrome ensemble was accessorized with strappy Tamara Mellon shoes and a Jimmy Choo clutch.
Elsewhere in Los Angeles, Roger Vivier celebrated its iconic Strass-buckle sandals at the Proper in Hollywood. A-list guests included Kate Bosworth, who looked striking in a white, off-the-shoulder top with statement sleeves by Ellery, which she paired with classic tailored trousers. The result was practical yet sophisticated, and proved that a dress shirt-and-pants combo is anything but basic.
