She is one of the world’s most elegant dressers, lighting up red carpet after red carpet – however, it’s not just on the Hollywood circuit in which Angelina Jolie dazzles. The American actor’s off-duty style is equally as chic, as the mother-of-six demonstrated with pizzazz this weekend. The 43-year-old stepped out in Los Angeles over the weekend, accompanied by daughters Shiloh Jolie-Pitt and Zahara Jolie-Pitt, where the trio indulged in a little retail therapy.
For the low-key occasion, the star turned to the Middle East for a modest yet sophisticated number that offered a fluid movement to temper LA’s humid summer climes. Jolie sported a black kaftan by Lebanese couturier Elie Saab for the outing, which featured a knotted neck tie, lace paneling, and stamped leather detailing. The label later took to Instagram to commend the star for her “timeless elegance” in the ethereal midi.
The Changeling star completed the look with a matching black Céline purse, neutral, mid-heeled patent pumps, and oversized sunnies. It is far from the first time that Jolie has sported Saab, with the Oscar winner often turning to the Damour-born designer for her red carpet looks. The star most recently wore Elie Saab Haute Couture Spring 2018 to the Annual American Society of Cinematographers in February 2018, and has also donned the label for the Academy Awards in both 2014 and 2009.
Dubbed the “King of Couture”, Saab’s scorecard of celebrity sightings also includes dressing cinema sirens such as Milla Jovovich, Mila Kunis, and Emma Stone in ethereal gowns featuring his trademark intricate embellishments, delicate details and romantic lace.
