According to These Celebrities, Millennial Pink is Here to Stay

Millennial pink is everywhere. The mix of salmon, blush, bubblegum and candyfloss has emerged as a go-to hue among the celebrity set, whether on the red carpet or street. According to color therapy, pink— which also took the Fall 2017 runways by storm, appearing at Nina Ricci, Prada, and Valentino among others—has mood-boosting qualities (previously selected as Pantone’s Color of the Year in 2016 for said abilities), which might potentially explain why our favorite models, actors, and it girls have been diving in the trend.

Most recently, Rihanna turned up at the Paris premiere of Valerian wearing a millennial pink marabou skirt and a crystal-fringed bikini top by Prada, complete with bubblegum-colored sunglasses. Meanwhile, Céline Dion’s floral, rose Gucci dress exuded flirty, summer style. At the 2017 CFDA Awards, Bella Hadid looked like a real-life Barbie in her hot pink Off-White skirt suit, and Zendaya followed in her footsteps weeks later at the Spider Man: Homecoming premiere in Los Angeles, wearing a Ralph & Russo gown in the same ubiquitous hue. But perhaps, no one loves millennial pink more than Gigi Hadid— the supermodel put her own spin on the hue on various occasions, most recently stepping out in pink leather pants and a matching jacket.
