Designers Alexis Martial and Adrien Caillaudaud exit Carven as co-artistic directors after four seasons at the helm of the fashion house founded by Marie-Louise Carven in 1945. The news comes just weeks after the duo debuted their Spring 2017 ready-to-wear collection during Paris Fashion Week. Both Martial and Caillaudaud held the role since their appointment in March 2015, where they succeeded Guillaume Henry who exited the label to lead Nina Ricci after his five-year tenor.

This marks another unsteady month in the fashion industry, and follows the announcement of Marni’s Consuelo Castiglioni stepping down as designer from the brand that she founded with her husband Gianni in 1994; and Peter Dundas’ sudden departure as creative director from Roberto Cavalli.
