On the evening of February 15, some of the region — and the world’s — most famous faces came together for a night like no other: the Vogue Ball of Arabia. Hosted at Atlantis the Royal in partnership with Hongqi, Amaffi and Komos, the 2024 edition of the annual celebration was a spectacular affair, with everyone (and we mean, everyone) honoring the theme of the evening, ‘Mermaids of the Gulf’, in incredible avantgarde looks that took inspiration from the magical underwater world.
Among the most exciting personalities in attendance was Former French first lady Carla Bruni. For her night out, the model and singer/songwriter was joined by Giuseppe Santoni, chairman of Italian fashion house Santoni. “I’m so grateful to Mr Santoni for inviting me to the magical Vogue Arabia Ball,” she shared later. “Working with Santoni is always a great pleasure. Posing for the cameras alongside Giuseppe Santoni, Bruni looked resplendent in a body-hugging chocolate brown gown that was covered in sequins and came in the most interesting cut.
