Behind-the-Scenes with Mônot at the 2020 Luisa Via Roma Charity Ball for Unicef

On August 29, a handful of A-listers from all over the world congregated on the island of Capri for a night of glitz, glamour, and goodwill. Hosted by luxury retailer, Luisa Via Roma in support of Unicef’s fight against Covid-19, the magical evening unfolded within San Giacomo’s 12th century Carthusian monastery. Downscaled from previous editions on account of social distancing measures, this year’s event comprised a guest list of no more than 350 attendees. Thus, with obligatory masks and sanitizers in tow, the event welcomed a number of celebrities including Cindy Bruna, Ezra Miller, and Eli Mizrahi, the Lebanese founder and designer of New York-based womenswear label, Mônot.

In a series of photos that take us behind the scenes, Mizrahi can be seen sharing special moments with friends and models ahead of the night’s proceedings. Cataloging the brand’s classic black ensembles, the intimate candids feature appearances by Lena Perminova, Tina Kunakey, and more. A photoshoot in its own right, scroll through the gallery for a peek into the glamorous world of Mônot.
