BLACKPINK Made Their VMAs Red Carpet Debut in Matching Shades

BLACKPINK is one of the world’s biggest girl bands, so it’s no surprise that they’re continuing their world domination on the 2022 VMAs red carpet.

On the heels of their comeback, the K-Pop group—featuring Lisa, Jennie, Jisoo, and Rosé—made their MTV Video Music Awards debut in matching black ensembles. The girl group, who’s members are all known for their distinctive, edgy styles and partnerships with high fashion brands, chose to coordinate with sophisticated, vampy looks.

Lisa, who was just on the cover of V Magazine, wore a two-piece set complete with cape pants and sandals, while her bandmate, Jisoo wore a floral maxi dress with lace details. Jennie, who is set to make her acting debut next to Lily Rose-Depp in HBO Max‘s new show, The Idol, wore a pleated low-rise skirt and strappy crop top. To round out the foursome, icy blonde Rosé wore a timeless long sleeve mini dress with a wrapped, cascading floral detail. They could all step on me, collectively, and I would thank them. And probably ask them to adopt me afterwards.

BLACKPINK’s two-year hiatus finally came to an end earlier this month when the group released “Pink Venom,” from their upcoming album Born Pink. They’re also set to go on one of the largest world tours a K-pop girl group has ever had later this year—meaning there’s more eyes than ever on Lisa, Jennie, Jisoo, and Rosé.

The group is performing alongside other big stars including Lizzo, J Balvin, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Snoop Dogg.
