In case you were wondering who Beyoncé was voting for, she made her choice loud and clear this afternoon. The superstar took to social media to share a selfie wearing a mask bearing the Biden/Harris logo. While countless celebrities have used their platforms to share opinions on the upcoming election and encourage their fans to vote, few do so in a custom designer outfit. Jeans and sneakers are the norm when heading to the polls, but Beyoncé always kicks it up a notch. Photographed wearing a custom Balmain look featuring the brand’s new 1945 collection, she was unapologetically glamorous and slightly cheeky. As she pulled the hat’s brim down for her Instagram post, it revealed her “I voted” sticker.

The graphic black and white motif featured on Beyoncé’s hat and turtleneck would be striking no matter the occasion, and in recent weeks, Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian West, and Rosalia have all worn the pattern head to toe in their Instagram posts. Still, Beyoncé’s version was special because of its connection to the presidential race. A political statement from a celebrity who chooses their messages with care, the look came with a message for her home state. “Come thru, Texas,” she wrote, followed by a second update reminding fans that despite the buzz over Ivy Park’s new collection, the most important drop is at the ballot box.
