Jay-Z’s mother Gloria Carter tied the knot in New York last weekend, wearing an ivory trouser suit. The bride’s daughter-in-law Beyoncé certainly brought the wedding guest glamour, dressed in a red-carpet worthy floor-length gown and feathered wrap.
Beyoncé wore a nude gown by Dolce & Gabbana with a sheer, paneled bodice, with strips of lace to mimic the boning in a classic corset. She then added extra glamour with a peach-hued feathered bolero wrapped around her elbows, platforms and shoulder-grazing crystal earrings. She added a touch of romance by carrying a Dolce & Gabbana Cordonetto lace shopper, with a heart motif – the perfect choice for a wedding.

Beyoncé’s wedding guest look was from Dolce & Gabbana’s spring/ summer 2023 collection, which was curated by Kim Kardashian. The star combed through the Dolce & Gabbana archives between the years of 1987 and 2007, gravitating towards the lingerie sets, corsets and fitted dresses. On the runway the looks were stitched with labels revealing the year they were first presented at either the hip or wrist. Beyoncé’s re-worked archive look is from the spring/summer 1995 collection, which was filled with sheer panelling, lingerie-inspired bodices and peachy nudes.
Blue Ivy was also photographed on her way to the wedding with her mother Beyoncé and grandmother Tina Knowles, wearing a sage green satin slip dress by It-girl favorite Reformation, with lilac sandals.
