The A-list couple that took Coachella by storm was Selena Gomez and The Weeknd. They were spotted attending Travis Scott’s performance together the first night both wearing color-tinted sunglasses. Sporting a similar look on day two, Selena took to Instagram and shared a selfie with The Weeknd’s arm around her. He wore a patched flannel button down and distressed jeans, while Selena had on a Harley Viera-Newton dress with a matching scarf and Alain Mikli sunglasses.
Coolest newcomer:
Black-ish star Yara Shahidi went to Coachella for the first time this year. The 17-year-old actress attended the Popsugar CFDA brunch looking effortlessly chic in The Great pants, a plain white t-shirt from Alternative Apparel and Madewell mules. She completed the outfit with gold hoop-earrings, layered necklaces and an anklet.
The previous day at the H&M Loves Coachella event, Shahidi wore a flowy floral dress from H&M, layered over a yellow tank top and Raen sunglasses. Needless to say, she nailed it.
Superstar who stole the show:
This year, although she did not perform on stage, Rihanna made sure to stay in the spotlight with her impeccable outfits. She was “Phresh out the runway” in Gucci’s latest fall 2017 graffiti logo tank and crystal-embellished bodysuit.
Another showstopping ensemble was a denim on denim look by Matthew Adams Dolan, paired with thigh-high Maison Margiela Tabi boots, Adam Selman x Le Specs glasses, and a bold blue lipstick to top her look off.
