The Venice Film Festival never fails to attract some of the biggest names in Hollywood. From photocalls to premieres, the Italian festival, now in its 77th year, is just as renowned for its dramatic red carpets as its international film offerings.
Having kicked off on September 1, celebrities – from Cate Blanchett to Tilda Swinton – have showcased statement-making outfits, from Chanel to Etro to Giorgio Armani, giving the event a dose of polish as per. Of course, this year is a bit different, as stars wear protective Covid-19 masks – though that hasn’t knocked the glamour quotient.
