“KenGi” reunite for Fendi, Gucci transports us to galaxies beyond our imagination, and Louis Vuitton eschews models in favor of actors. Designers have thought outside the sartorial box when it comes to their Fall 2017 ad campaigns. Here’s a roundup of the best campaigns that will leave you longing for the cooler weather to stay longer and keeping your wardrobe overhaul set for sub-zero chic…


Shot by British fashion photographer Glen Luchford, Gucci’s Fall 2017 campaign is inspired by 1950s sci-fi films. The brand’s creative director, Alessandro Michele, unites aliens, robot humanoids, and earthlings to recreate iconic movie scenes, including the fight between William Shatner’s Kirk and the Gorn from an early episode of Star Trek.

The first campaign for Calvin Klein under the creative direction of Belgian designer Raf Simons hasn’t disappointed. Shot by Willy Vanderperre in the Mojave desert in California, the images feature 22 of-the-moment models posing in front of giant logo-ed billboards of the brand’s previous Spring 2017 Calvin Klein: American Classics campaign.

Dior teamed up with French photographer Brigitte Lacombe for its Fall 2017 campaign, which features rising models Adwoa Aboah, Selena Forrest, Grace Hartzel, and Ellen Rosa wearing a mix of tailored jackets and embroidered gowns.

Kaiser Karl Lagerfeld gets behind the camera once again for the Fall campaign where he shot his leading muses, Cara Delevingne and Lily-Rose Depp. The space-themed ad echoes the brand’s Fall 2017 Paris Fashion Week show.

Nicolas Ghesquière recruits a star-studded cast for Louis Vuitton’s Fall 2017 campaign. Featuring a mix of models and actors, including Jaden Smith, Riley Keough, Santi Robledo, and Sophie Turner, the campaign was shot by renowned fashion photographer Bruce Weber in Pompano Beach, Florida.

Best friends Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner come together as the stars of Fendi’s latest ad campaign. Shot by Karl Lagerfeld, the duo is captured in colorful furs, luxe knitwear, and flowy dresses plucked from the Italian house’s latest collection.

Once again Gigi Hadid fronts a campaign. The campaign was shot under the creative direction of Angela Missoni and photographed by Harley Weir. The ad is set in Angela’s home in Brunello, Italy, against the backdrop of the Monte Rosa mountains.

Givenchy unveils its first campaign under newly appointed creative director Clare Waight Keller, called Transformation Seduction. Shot by Steven Meisel, the images feature models Elias Bouremah and Saffron Vadher holding cats on their laps – a nod to feline prints from a 1953 collection by Hubert de Givenchy.

Six girls, including Romee Strijd, Joan Smalls, Andreea Diaconu, Maria Borges, Charlee Fraser, and Lameka Fox were photographed by Maxwell and his creative partner Jessy Price wearing tailored suit jackets, form-fitting gowns, and sleek capes.

For its Fall 2017 campaign, Dolce & Gabbana introduces some millennial faces. Shot by Luca and Alessandro Morelli, the ad campaign, titled #DGPalermo, features house favorites Sonia Ben Ammar and Austin Mahone posing alongside new campaign stars and celebrity offspring, including Steve Harvey’s daughter Lori Harvey and Corinne Foxx, Jamie Foxx’s daughter.

Images shot by Danish photographer Casper Sejersen acted as film teasers and posters to support Kenzo’s campaign film, which was directed by Natasha Lyonne. The short film, Cabiria, Charity, Chastity features Maya Rudolph, Fred Armisen, Greta Lee, and Macaulay Culkin and debuts in September 2017.
