The Best Eid al-Fitr Instagrams

Eid al-Fitr has come, bringing with it a wealth of well-documented, holiday-inspired Instagram snaps. Bella Hadid took to the social media platform to wish her fans Eid Mubarak by sharing an adorable throwback photo of her and her siblings and cousins. She captioned it, “Eid Mubarak. May God bless and bring peace to you all my friends and family. My Palestinian blood! I love and miss you! At our Teta’s house in Virginia close to where I was born in D.C. Xx”

The holiday is meant for spending time with loved ones. See Vogue Arabia’s June cover star Halima Aden who enjoyed her day with old friends, while Palestinian twins Sama and Haya Khadra soaked in the California sun with their closest pals. Across the Atlantic, Thana and Sakhaa Abdul put on their Eid best, opting for matching romantic, salmon-colored Diane Von Furstenberg dresses.

But it wouldn’t be Eid without the sweets— Tunisian model Kenza Fourati and her other half indulged in bambalouni, a fried, sugar-laden Tunisian donut. See our favorite captures from the first two days of Eid al-Fitr below.
