Berluti’s master shoemaker, Patrice Rock, will visit the UAE from October 17-19 to offer clients in the region the rare opportunity to have their next pair of shoes custom-made using Berluti’s signature bespoke services.
Rock, who received the Chevalier of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres in 2015 – one of France’s greatest honors – will meet customers at Dubai’s Mall of the Emirates, The Dubai Mall, and The Galleria Mall in Abu Dhabi. Here, Vogue.me lists the reasons to mark these dates in your little black book.
Customize Your Berluti Shoes
Unlike demi-measure shoes, Berluti’s hand-made customizable footwear service allows its clients complete control over every painstaking detail. From the type of leather, shade, soles, fit, and even the patinas (Berluti’s patina is the house’s secret pigmentation technique and is available in a variety of shades,) each personalized shoe is crafted to suit the exact requirements and preferences of the client.
Go One Step Further With Detail
Those who feel so inclined can put their own personal stamp on their one-of-a-kind shoes by way of their initials or other embellishments.
Love Your Brogues
Additionally, the master shoemaker will be on hand to give essential footwear maintenance advice. As a finishing touch, each pair of shoes will be delivered to the customer in a Venezia Scritto leather box, personalized in the colors of their chosen patina and engraved with the owner’s name.
Stock Up On Threads, Too
Now owned by LVMH, Berluti recently made the jump from footwear and accessories into fully-fledged ready-to-wear. Haider Ackermann was appointed as the luxury French brand’s new creative director, succeeding Alessandro Sartori.
Clients can book their exclusive bespoke shoemaking service at the Berluti Store in Mall of the Emirates on October 17; Level Shoe District at The Dubai Mall on October 18; and the Berluti Store at The Galleria Mall, Abu Dhabi on October 19.
