Bella Hadid is up for a prestigious title at The Fashion Awards 2018, an annual event created by the British Fashion Council in an effort to recognize and celebrate the industry’s brightest talents across design, business, and modeling. The half-Palestinian catwalk star has been nominated in the much-lauded International Model Category at the event, formerly known as the British Fashion Awards, which are held in partnership with Swarovski. Hadid is joined by previous nominees Kaia Gerber, Winnie Harlow, and Adwoa Aboah, in addition to newcomer Adut Akech, in this year’s list of finalists.
This is the 22-year-old’s third consecutive nod in the Model of the Year category. The catwalker was nominated for the prestigious award in 2017 and in 2016, though she has yet to scoop up the award— the titles went to Adwoa Aboah and her big sister Gigi, respectively. But you know what they say: third time’s a charm.
The Fashion Awards will honor the winners — which will be voted on by over 2,000 industry players from 32 different countries — on December 10 at a gala ceremony in London’s Royal Albert Hall. Until then, see the full list of nominees below.
